The Ariane lamp refers to the space exploration. Inspired by the vastness of space and the elements that compose it, we wanted to reinterpret this abstract and distant imaginary on a more domestic scale, playing with shapes, colors and light... The lamp consists of vertical mast slightly inclined and curved at the top on which is fixed a glass deflector, forming a shield reflecting the light. Once the light is turned on, the glass deflector becomes an incandescent and unidentified object suspended in space. The massiveness of the base, underlined by the presence of color, contrasts with the finesse and slenderness of the rest of the lamp.
